1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of the Water Credit Registry, a platform operated by Captiva Verde Wellness Corp. By accessing the Registry, the Standards library, or the Market terminal, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Registry
The Registry issues, transfers and retires Water Credits — instruments representing one gallon of new pure water generated on U.S. soil, metered at the source and countersigned by an accredited third party before minting.
A credit is a record on the public ledger, not a security, not a warranty of future yield, and not a substitute for a water right, permit, or discharge authorization.
3. Eligibility
- You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
- You are not on any U.S. sanctions list.
- You are acting on your own behalf, or with authority to bind the organization you name.
4. Market conduct
The Market is an over-the-counter limit book. Every order is on the record. You will not layer, spoof, or otherwise place orders you do not intend to execute. Manipulative conduct is grounds for immediate suspension and public disclosure to the Standards body.
5. Retirement
Retirement is permanent. A retired credit cannot be re-listed, re-issued, or transferred. The retirement record — buyer, vintage, reason — remains publicly visible on the ledger.
6. Warranties and liability
The Registry is provided as-is. Captiva Verde Wellness Corp warrants only that credits are minted in accordance with the Standards then in effect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no other warranty applies, and total liability for any claim is capped at the price paid for the credits at issue.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts of New Castle County, Delaware.
8. Changes
We will post any amendment to these Terms on this page and note the new effective date above. Continued use of the Registry after the effective date is acceptance of the amended Terms.
