Across every station on the registry, the v2.1 filtration and testing regime pushed measured purity above 99.9% at the meter. The reading is taken before the credit mints; anything below the floor is discarded and never enters circulation.
How we measure
Each station samples a fixed fraction of every batch. The sample is run through an EPA-referenced panel for total dissolved solids, heavy metals, and biological indicators. The result is logged, hashed, and attached to the credit before it mints.
99.94% average purity, 30-day rolling
Purity is not the only property that matters, but it is the one that historically had no reliable public reference. The v2.1 methodology closes that gap.
