The Water Credit Protocol turns every gallon of clean water produced on American soil into a public, verifiable, tradeable unit. One credit is 100 gallons, metered at the machine, countersigned by an independent verifier, and appended to a public ledger.
Why now
Domestic demand for potable water is climbing faster than groundwater and river systems can replenish. Data centers, manufacturing, agriculture, and municipalities are all competing for the same shrinking supply. The protocol makes new supply provable, priceable, and portable, so the buyers who need it most can fund the builders who create it.
100 gallons per water credit
Every credit carries the meter reading, the verifier signature, and the machine identity that produced it. Nothing about a credit is subjective. If a claim cannot be verified against a physical reading, it never mints.
